As crazy as it sounds, I climbed the second highest mountain in Norway. Directly translated Glittertind (the name of the mountain I stumbled my way up) means Glitter Top. Which just made this trip that much better. During our time at Glitterheim we stayed in these really cute mountains cottages and enjoyed meals looking over the beautiful landscape, sans cell service. This trip was a great way to start a great year.
My class went glacier hiking this week! We had our ice picks and special shoes and everything. This trip was quite an adventure staring the special guest of constant rain and wind. But, we survived and have realized we work better as a group when we aren't all tied to one another.
This year so far has been such a good experience. Everyone is so kind and I've truly enjoyed everyday I've been here. We went blue berry picking to make into jam for the year. These are all the students hands from the international class post berry picking with our stained fingers.
After 14 hours of travel- including 2 cars, 2 planes, and 2 trains, I've arrived in Norway! I packed my bag and moved for the first time in my life #brazy. So excited to see what this year holds for me.
